Tarot AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Tarot AI app handles information when you use the app. Tarot AI is designed for tarot card drawing and AI-generated interpretation and does not require account registration or login.

1. Information We May Process

We do not ask for your name, phone number, email address, or government-issued identifiers to use the app.

We may process the following categories of information to provide the service:

  • Anonymous app instance ID generated locally on your device and stored in local app storage.
  • Reading inputs, including selected topic, drawn cards, card orientation, chosen reading style, and any optional question text you submit.
  • Service metadata such as reading ID, model name, prompt version, generation status, token usage, and basic operational diagnostics.
  • If ads are enabled in the future, advertising-related data handled by Google AdMob or other Google advertising services, which may include device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, app interaction data, and diagnostics under Google's own policies.

2. How We Use Information

  • To generate tarot readings and return results inside the app.
  • To keep a stable anonymous identifier for app-instance continuity.
  • To monitor service reliability, debug failures, and improve model performance.
  • To measure system usage at an aggregate or anonymous level.
  • To display ads if advertising is enabled.

3. AI Processing and International Transfers

To generate interpretations, your reading inputs may be sent to our backend service and then to model providers or compatible AI platforms hosted outside mainland China. These providers may process the content needed to return a response.

Because the app is intended for overseas Chinese users and uses overseas AI infrastructure, your submitted reading content may be processed in other countries or regions where privacy protections may differ from those in your home jurisdiction.

4. What We Store

Our current backend may store an anonymous user record and reading records tied to the anonymous ID. These records may include reading topic, drawn cards, model metadata, token counts, generation status, and creation timestamps.

We do not currently intend to store your optional question text as part of the main reading database record, but that text may still be transmitted at request time to our servers and AI providers so the reading can be generated.

5. Local Storage

The app may store a locally generated anonymous ID and other basic app preferences on your device. This helps the app function without creating a personal account.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to provide consent for data processing. If you believe a child provided information in violation of applicable law, please use the support contact listed in the app store listing or app support page.

7. Your Choices

  • Avoid entering highly sensitive personal, medical, legal, or financial details.
  • You can stop using the app at any time.
  • You may clear app data or reinstall the app to remove locally stored anonymous data, subject to your device and platform settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.

9. Contact

For support or privacy-related questions, please use the support contact shown in the app store listing or the support information provided inside the app.
